Blogs of Updates from
The Village Organic Farm

................

We've joined the community of bloggers!  This is partly because we've already had a number of requests from friends and colleagues for current news of our impending travels (see below).  But also it will help us to document what we see, hear, touch and taste - and for that documentation to be fresh.
Pat, Julie and Oliver are about to embark on an adventure to New Zealand, USA, Ireland, England, France and Italy.  This is due to Julie being awarded a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship to investigate regulatory "impediments to artisanal food {production} and initiatives that nourish relationships between producers and consumers".  Quite an ambitious project but one that will reap many rewards.
We won't commit to adding to the blogs on a particular day of the week but it's likely that we'll be contributing something at least once a week.  By the way, we leave Australia on the 29th of July and we're due to return mid-January 2009.
Looking forward to blogging with you!
